June 2023

One of my poems ‘The Frenchman’ has been selected by the lovely team at Guernsey Arts to be part of a collection of poems from the islands competing in the Island Games 2023, which took place in early July in Guernsey. You can read this poem and many more from all over the world, here.

The island games digital arts open exhibition (featuring my photograph) will be on display from the 8th of July when the Island Games 2023 have begun in the George Crossan Gallery, Inner Market, St Peter Port, Guernsey.

These poems were displayed in the Priaulx Library gardens in St Peter Port, Guernsey from 2 May to 16 June 2023 and will be on Guernsey buses from the summer. A winners’ reading took place on 10 May at Guilles Allès Library as part of Guernsey Literary Festival.

March 2023

I have been awarded third prize in the Channel Islands category of the Guernsey International Poetry Competition 2023 with my poem ‘Diversion’.

The competition was judged by Jackie Kay and Candy Neubert and winning poems will be displayed on local buses and all over the island from July 2023.

A reading of winning poems by the winners took place in Guernsey on 10 May 2023 as part of the Guernsey Literary Festival.
